Overview:
Gallagher Benefits Services (GBS) is currently recruiting for a People and Culture Partner to join their growing team.
As People & Culture Partner, you report to our People and Culture VP. You'll be responsible for supporting on HR issues such as mergers and acquisitions, compensation, recruitment, TUPE, relocation, diversity, training and organisational development.
This is an exciting role, where you will act as the complete business partner for "all things HR" within GBS, as well as working with the wider People and Culture Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with leaders to provide comprehensive People services, offering guidance to managers and employees in line with the evolving needs of our expanding teams.
- Drive performance improvement by developing and implementing multiple people strategies.
- Analyze turnover, exit interview data, and engagement surveys to identify trends and provide recommendations to leadership, emphasizing ROI and its relationship to business growth and financial performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership, enhancing their effectiveness across the client group.
- Deliver exceptional service to employees, addressing inquiries related to benefits, time off requests, policies, and records, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Partner with internal teams on employee-related initiatives, utilizing strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills to provide expertise in career development, performance management, employee engagement, and compensation.
- Contribute to internal committees, ensuring the People agenda is integrated and supported by the business.
- Support Inclusive and Diversity efforts, collaborating closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner and Learning and Development Partner.
- Lead Mergers and Acquisitions activities, ensuring timely completion of all TUPE requirements.
- Lead Employee Relations efforts, advising and guiding managers and leaders, enhancing their skills and ensuring compliance with policies, including documentation management.
- Update policies and processes as needed.
- Attend leadership meetings regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous business partnering experience, ideally in financial services, Retail, Tech, Communications, or Marketing industries.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, international operations, and TUPE.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and adaptable to various environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data and previous experience to make informed decisions.
- Discreet handling of confidential matters.
- Customer-focused mindset with professionalism and discretion.
- Knowledge of UK legislation, policies, procedures, compliance, and practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in process improvement and change management.
