Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People and Culture to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Culture
    • Develop and implement a culture strategy that aligns with the company's mission and values.
    • Lead by example and champion the company's values in every interaction with team members and guests.
  • Learning and Development
    • Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development program that enhances employee skills, performance, and career growth.
    • Work with General Managers to identify skills or knowledge gaps and develop tailored training programs and evergreen learning resources.
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement people strategies in line with the overall business plans, ensuring a high-performing, values-driven culture.
    • Partner with senior management to ensure people practices align with company objectives.
  • Talent Management
    • Oversee the talent attraction, acquisition, and onboarding processes to ensure the successful recruitment of strong cultural contributors.
    • Master and manage the employee development and engagement system (Culture Amp) and implement performance management processes via the system to drive high performance.
  • Employee Engagement and Relations
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, including the biannual engagement survey, supporting improvement actions continually.
    • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts appropriately.
  • HR Operations
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Oversee the administration of benefits and compensation packages in line with Finance.
Requirements
  • Experience in a senior people role within a multisite business in hospitality or retail/similar.
  • Proficiency in HR software and experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience in talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong accountability in personal execution and proactive support of others.
  • Proactive and innovative with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with high emotional intelligence.
  • Education in Human Resources or a related field, HR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
