At Perlego, we're on a mission to make education accessible to everyone. Our team of over 100 passionate individuals is dedicated to creating a platform that helps students learn anything, anywhere, and at any time.
We've recently secured $50 million in Series B funding, and we're now looking to expand our support to students globally and build a product that goes beyond books, helping students study smarter and more effectively.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Head of People to play a pivotal role in shaping and building our culture of performance while maintaining a happy and healthy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll partner closely with our Founder and leadership to build a founder-led culture that encompasses both our Founder's vision and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
- Lead the People Team as part of our enabler tribe and be an important member of our extended leadership team, Domain Head.
- Partner with our COO and CEO to build a performance culture that drives business outcomes and employee engagement.
- Manage and coach a team of three in the People & Talent team, building a high-performing and engaged team.
- Act as a strategic thought partner and coach to leaders across the business to help us scale the business and achieve our financial mission to become profitable over the next two years.
- Experience as a Head of People in a fast-paced organization with constant change.
- Believe in the power of a performance-based and focused culture.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, with a deep understanding of how people link to business outcomes.
- Comfortable with financials and data, with the ability to analyze and use data to inform decision-making.
