About the Role

Saracens Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive performance, development, engagement, and retention across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives
  • Coach and guide employees at all levels to build trust and rapport and enable them to achieve their full potential
  • Manage employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and absence management
  • Develop and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Lead on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a culture of belonging and respect
  • Manage recruitment and talent management processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Provide guidance on employment law and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Lead on HR projects and initiatives to drive business outcomes and improve organisational performance
Requirements
  • CIPD level 7 qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a HR management role, preferably in a sports or entertainment organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
  • Experience of managing employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary matters
  • Knowledge of employment law and ability to provide guidance on compliance
