- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic team to help others achieve their potential and move on with their lives.
- This is a new accommodation based service which will provide supported accommodation for five individuals following a social rehab model, working alongside Durham Care and Support Service to meet the needs of individuals who are leaving long-term hospital or residential stays and require support to develop their independent living skills and move on to live independently in the Community.
- The role is a dual role providing both housing management support which includes tasks such as tenancy sign-ups, making housing benefit claims, property inspections, Health & Safety checks, reporting of repairs and void turnarounds. The other element of the role will be providing housing related support to individuals to improve their independent living skills which includes money management, management of a tenancy, practical life skills, meaningful use of time and social inclusion.
- Good people skills with the ability to establish a good rapport with both service users and other agencies
- Good team player who is organised and reliable
- A flexible approach to work
- Experience is housing / housing support would be desirable

**The service is approximately 3 miles west of the centre of Durham.**

**Please note this is a part-time role of 16 hours to be delivered between the hours of 10am and 4pm.**
