**Job Description: Outreach, Marketing and Events Officer**

**You will be based at**:Womens Enterprise and Community Hub, 249a Ladypool Road, Sparkhill, B12 8LF**

**£25000.00 per annum pro rata (This post is part funded By ESIF) (£15000.00 actual)**

**Hours on project: 22.5 hours per week potential to increase to 30 hours.**

**(may include evenings and weekends)**

**Job Responsibilities.**

Working on engaging with the community to identify and support those that need assistance into to employment or business start-up.

**General**
- Outreach into local communities and raise awareness of employment and enterprise opportunities to local unemployed people and recruit to the project.
- Identify places to hold events to promote recruitment to the project, design, facilitate and evaluate these events.
- Liaise with partner agencies to share project information to ensure unemployed people and those seeking to start their own business have support that reflects their needs.
- Maintain records and evidence of activity which support the successful delivery and report this each month to the Project Officer.
- Assess and support access to employment and enterprise programmes delivered by the project team.
- Monitor the activities delivered in relation to this role and provide monthly reports to CEO and Project Officer. Attend appropriate meetings.
- Alongside the Business Advisor, arrange support sessions, workshops and provide telephone support to local people seeking to access employment, training, or enterprise.
- Work with the Business Advisor and the ISE team to deliver against an annual work-plan, based on project specification, which contributes to achieving both project objectives and iSE organisational priorities.

**Communications**
- Support the Business Advisor and the communications team to provide a regular programme of communications on the benefit of the service.
- Work with partners and the ISE team to deliver engagement and support events.
- Assist in the design and produce marketing materials that support the project and the annual work-plan.
- Attend monthly project meetings

**Administrative**
- Maintain a record of all activity undertaken as part of the project.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of project monitoring information on time.
- Undertake any other that support this role and the work of iSE. activities

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
