The purpose of this role is to work jointly with the other Service Coordinators and the Clinical Services Operational Manager to ensure the safe and smooth running of the organisations clinical services by providing high quality and effective coordination, administration, and management support. As a highly motivated individual the Service Coordinator will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to ensure service continuity and responsiveness. Utilising excellent communication skills, the Service Coordinator will be required to develop professional working relationships with members of Conexus Healthcare team and external stakeholders including HR, financial and accountancy support, workers within our services, our member practices, and other partner organisations in the health & social care system. They will also be the first point of contact for clinical and administrative staff.

The post holder will have a base at Conexus HQ at Sandal Castle Medical Centre but will be required to work flexibly and attend any of the sites where our services are provided from or to work remotely from home. The sites we currently deliver services from are Trinity Medical Centre, Wakefield; Ossett Surgery, Ossett; Northgate Surgery, Pontefract; Elizabeth Court Surgery, Castleford; Kings Medical Centre, Normanton, and Church View Health Centre, South Kirkby. The post holder may be required some evenings & weekends. As the role requires the postholder to commute across the Wakefield District applicants should either hold a full driving licence, which is valid in the UK, and hold the relevant car insurance to cover travel for business purposes or have the ability to be mobile by using other modes of transport for which reasonable expenses will be payable.

The post holder will be required to work flexible hours to ensure daily management cover between the service coordinators during service opening times and to participate in an on-call rota with other members of the organisations management team.
