We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator on a permanent contract. This role will be within the Finance Department based at the Cockermouth Manufacturing Business Unit.

**Main duties of this role will include but are not limited to**:

- Match invoices with purchase orders.
- Accurately code invoices and enter onto both the nominal and purchase ledgers.
- Monitor invoices sent for authorisation and ensure that they are returned on a timely basis.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
- Generate BACS, SEPA, Priority Payments & intercompany bank transfers.
- Interface with both intercompany and external suppliers to ensure that payment queries are resolved in timely manner.
- Ensure that month end, quarter end and year end deadlines are achieved.
- Process credit card & cash expense claims.
- Process supplier bank details and ensure only verified and accurate changes are made
- Maths & English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent
- Experience of undertaking work in a structured manner.
- Demonstrate an ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience of working within a Purchase Ledger Department would be preferred but is not essential.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
- Organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multi task.
