**About the job**

We’re recruiting a new member of the Finance team to provide support with day-to-day functions, performing entry-level accounting duties for our environmental charity, based at Oxfordshire’s iconic Wittenham Clumps.

The primary focus for the Finance Assistant is on accounts receivable and accounts payable. In addition, you will help with:
**Key responsibilities**
- Banking, debt collections, billing, audit support
- Month End and related journal entries
- Assisting with administration tasks and answering queries from staff, clients or other external third party suppliers and providers

**About you**

We’re looking for someone with excellent computer/IT skills, particularly with Excel, and a good understanding of bank reconciliation banking, processing supplier and sales invoices and expense claims and nominal control account reconciliations. Experience in charity accounting would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
