Job Opportunity: Assistant Accountant

About the Role

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service to the business unit(s)
  • Preparing and issuing monthly invoices
  • Performing order processing tasks to ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Assisting with credit control activities
  • Processing creditors invoices and payment runs
  • Preparing, analysing, and presenting working capital results to leadership teams
  • Preparing various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and inter-company accounts
  • Assisting with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organisation
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Proficient in computer systems, with experience using finance software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A finance background
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Immediate availability
