Job Responsibilities

The Financial Assistant will:

  • Build relationships and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s)
  • Prepare and issue monthly invoices to clients
  • Perform order processing tasks to ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Assist with credit control activities, ensuring timely payments from clients
  • Process creditors invoices and payment runs, maintaining accurate financial records
  • Prepare, analyse, and present working capital results to leadership teams, providing valuable insights
  • Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and inter-company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organisation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Requirements

The Financial Assistant will be/have:

  • Computer literate with experience using finance systems
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and present complex data
  • A finance background, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Immediately available, with a flexible approach to work
