Job Responsibilities
The Financial Assistant will:
- Build relationships and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s)
- Prepare and issue monthly invoices to clients
- Perform order processing tasks to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Assist with credit control activities, ensuring timely payments from clients
- Process creditors invoices and payment runs, maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare, analyse, and present working capital results to leadership teams, providing valuable insights
- Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and inter-company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist with special ad hoc projects that impact various stakeholders within the organisation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Requirements
The Financial Assistant will be/have:
- Computer literate with experience using finance systems
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and present complex data
- A finance background, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Immediately available, with a flexible approach to work
