A leader in their industry this Bedford based employer are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll specialist on a fixed term contract basis for an initial 6 month period. This is a hybrid position working 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely. Thereis also an option for this role to go temporary to permanent, although this is not guaranteed.

You will join an experienced payroll team of 4 responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of the companies multiple weekly and monthly UK payrolls totalling over 2000 employees from start to finish. This role represents an opportunity to take ownershipof your own payroll and process while still taking advantage of being in a team structure of support.

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate experience processing high volume monthly payrolls from start to finish. You should have a good understanding of UK PAYE legislation and a good understanding of how to calculate deductionssuch overpayents, maternity, sickness payments, Tax and National Insurance. CIPP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
