Join a small but fast-paced growing family business that is currently involved in the hospitality sector in York. We own and operate a number of businesses which we need someoone to help us with. You will be expected to wear multiple hats and work alongside the Company Directors to ensure:
**Effective Administration**
- Smooth running of our small operations including coordination with other team members when something requires resolution
- Proactive delivery of assigned administrative actions / tasks

**Housekeeping**

Housekeeper for a small boutique guesthouse located near the Groves in York.

Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing rooms following check-out of guests (changing of linens, cleaning, refreshing the room)
- Cleaning communal areas and ensuring they are presentable

**Care Assistant**
- Help us grow our domiciliary care business by initially acting as a care assistant as we onboard clients (this role typically involves helping someone in their home with tasks such as washing up, cleaning, cooking, general companionship and banter)
- Helping the Directors as we mobilise processes and procedures as we slowly ramp up
- Taking on management / coordinator responsibilities as more care assistants are hired (over the next 12-24 months)
- Full training will be provided.

This is a permanent role and while the initial hours are 20hrs per week, our intention is to scale this up to 35hrs per week as we grow the domiciliary care business over the next 12 months.

This means that the current advertised salary range of £12,480 per year (based on 20 hrs per week) has the potential to go up to £21,840 per year should you wish to grow the number of hours you work. If you want to stick to 20hrs per week, that is fine also as we will be hiring additional people to work alongside you through the year as our businesses grow.

Experience required in order to apply:

- Previous housekeeping OR caring experience - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to use a laptop - ESSENTIAL

Role is based on-site in York:

- Working hours are rota based with alternating weeks: week1 being Mon - Fri (10am - 2pm), week2 being Wed - Sun (10am - 2pm)
