Receptionist/admin Assistant

A long-standing firm of Accountants in York are looking for a receptionist/admin assistant to join its team.
You will be responsible for reception duties including dealing with clients and enquiries on the telephone and face-to-face, and support the team with administrative assistance. Your duties will include filing, scanning, printing, posting and any duties to ensure the smooth running of a busy office.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Administrative support
- Process work in line with formal procedures
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Resolve queries, escalating as necessary
- To schedule and prioritise allocated work every day
- Identify and suggest areas of improvement.
- Maintain and update confidential information whilst adhering to company security procedures
- Previous administration experience, excellent attention to detail
- Proven track record as a team player
- Accurate and timely delivery of tasks coupled with excellent organisational skills
- Strong customer service delivery, communicating at all levels
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Previous reception experience
**Salary**: £19,000 - £24,000 per year / pro rata
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
