**Duties**
- Provide immediate medical assistance to individuals who are injured or experiencing a medical emergency
- Assess the nature and severity of injuries or illnesses
- Communicate with emergency medical services and provide necessary information for further medical intervention
- Document all incidents, treatments, and observations accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain and update the register of First Aiders on the school staff
- Maintain first aid stock and be responsible for ordering and checking of first aid supplies
- Maintain and re-stock first aid boxes throughout the school
- Ensure all medicines brought to school are stored appropriately in line with H&S policies
- Deal with students queries and maintain accurate records, chase up information
- Deal with lost property and confiscations
- Provide admin assistance including answering calls, dealing with incoming communication.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a First Aider or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic first aid techniques and procedures
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals in distress and emergency personnel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess injuries and illnesses

**Hours of work**

Wednesday to Friday 8am till 4pm ( 22.5h)

£12 - £14 per hour
