Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy opened in January 1965 as The Blessed John Houghton Catholic School to provide a secondary Catholic education in the local area. The school has grown in size and reputation ever since. We are an 11-16 comprehensive school, providing education for students of all abilities and we pride ourselves on our inclusive nature and ethos. **Your responsibilities**
To support students through mentoring and proactive strategies and the day to day running of the Behaviour Support System in accordance with the legal and school requirements.
**What are we looking for?**
- If you have excellent communication, are flexible to use your own initiative when working under pressure, we would like to hear from you.
- Experience and knowledge of the key factors that affect how children can behave and strategies to promote good behaviour in young people and demonstrate high levels of support.
