Legal Secretary/receptionist

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as initial writs, petitions, pleadings and motions
- Organise and maintain legal files and documents
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Assist solicitors in preparing for proofs, hearings, and meetings
- Communicate with clients, opposing solicitors and courts
- Manage solicitor calendars and deadlines
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar role
- Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
