**Legal Secretary - Immediate Start - Glasgow - Salary up to £35 p/h DOE**

**Are you an experienced legal secretary who is looking for a new opportunity? Are you immediately available for a new role in Glasgow? Do you want an opportunity to join a global insurance business?**

We are looking to speak to experienced legal secretaries / legal compliance administrators from a corporate environment who are looking for a new, ongoing opportunity in Glasgow. Ideally for this role you will be well organised, proactive and motivated to provide excellent service to the wider team, customers and clients daily. You will be a confident communicator both written and orally and able to build key business relationships. This is a great opportunity to join an established, global business in the heart of Glasgow

**This is a full time, temporary 6 month opportunity paying up to £35 p/h DOE. This role will follow core business hours Monday - Friday, whilst offering hybrid working**

**Are you who we are looking for?**
- You have strong and extensive legal secretary experience within a professional/corporate environment OR
- You have legal compliance experience
- You are able to manage and develop high-level relationships with key business stakeholders
- You are proficient in the use of all Microsoft Packages and other software
- You are proactive and can manage your time and diary to complete all tasks daily
- You can work well individually and within a wider team
- You are comfortable dealing with a variety of clients daily
- You have a strong attention to detail
- You are a confident communicator both written and orally

**What is the day to day like?**
- Supporting the maintenance of statutory records, and all ongoing compliance for a portfolio of private companies
- Completing all routine and non routine company secretarial work
- Ensuring that matters are dealt with correctly, within deadlines and budget constraints
- Supporting the review of content for annual reports and accounts from a statutory and corporate governance perspective
- Managing all statutory requirements for company structure and branch network
- Liaising with external regulators and advisors including auditors and external counsel on a regular basis ensuring all entities are preparing and implementing changes
- Developing and overseeing systems
- Managing and updating company information on internal Blueprint system
- Monitoring both French and Belgian regulatory filing
- Dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports to ensure that decisions are made and communicated to the relevant stakeholders
- Managing intercompany agreements for Europe
- Assisting in remediation plans for audits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £25.00-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

**Experience**:

- Legal Secretary: 1 year (preferred)
- Legal Compliance: 1 year (preferred)
- Company Secretarial: 1 year (preferred)
