Tye Green Indoor Bowls Club Ltd was established in 1972 and opened in 1976 as a six rink complex.
A few years later, as membership increased, the building was extended to its present size of nine rinks.
It is a private club, owned and administrated by its own members for the purpose of flat green bowling.
In addition to our bowling facilities, we have a bar and restaurant and a newly refurbished function room, which can be hired by both members and non members for a wide range of events.
Our support for local sporting teams has extended beyond bowls over the years and we currently host darts teams for their matches.
Members are encouraged to support the club by playing in Leagues, friendly matches with other clubs, club organised competitions and various Galas throughout the year. The club and individual members also participate in National and County Competitions.
At Tye Green, we pride ourselves on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
**Role Title: Administration Assistant**
We are looking for a hardworking, multitasking, friendly, flexible person who is a team player to come and join our close knit team.
**General Description**
Working as part of a small and busy team, you will be required to undertake a variety of admin work and assist with the day-to-day running of the office. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Organisation of the rink placements each day
- Preparation of rink tickets/bags for green fees
- Processing green fees and providing change
- Selling club shirts, stickers and other goods
- Assisting with the banking of club takings
- Taking membership fees
- Booking rinks for bowlers
- Inputting of league scores
- Issuing and supplying lockers
- Providing car parking permits for visitors
- Taking function bookings and payments
- Various customer service duties
- Providing admin support to the management committee and bar team
You will also be responsible for the production of the club handbook and for the summer and winter league fixtures/paperwork.
Basic knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll is essential as you will be required to undertake account and payroll duties.
Full training of the job with be given.
**Hours of Work**
Tye Green Indoor Bowls Club is open 12 months a year, but the office working hours change according to the season as follows:
8:30am to 12:30pm in the May to October summer season (Monday to Friday)
8:30am to 2:30pm in the October to May winter season (Monday to Friday)

Rate of pay is dependent on experience and will be discussed at the interview stage.
