Classic Lodges are recruiting an Events Coordinator to join the Old Swan hotel in Harrogate

The Events Coordinator will join our motivated team here at Old Swan. Qualities required would be;
- Previous conference, wedding or/and event co-ordination experience within a hotel (ideally 2 years)
- Ability to use Windows Word and Excel and the booking system Rezlynx is preferred but not essential.
- Writes in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate grammar, style and language for the reader.
- Strives to build customer satisfaction
- Shows enthusiasm, passion, drive and commitment to exceed
- Listens actively and speaks clearly
- Remains calm and confident under pressure
- Has a good eye for detail
- Ensures that quality and productivity standards are met
- Adapts to changing demands and conditions
- Interacts with others and able to work effectively within a team.
- Is confident in dealing with guests, face to face and by telephone
- Comfortable meeting people and confident to conduct show rounds of the hotel and facilities
- Understands and applies commercial and financial principles to their work
- Take pride in what you do
- Have a friendly, professional and warm manner
- Can build excellent relationships with guests
- Have good computer skills
