The Early Careers Delivery team, based within our Learning Academy in the HR function, plays a key role in developing the capability of our people.

This role is responsible for the consistent and efficient collection and dissemination of learner achievement data from our partner providers to senior cohort leaders, JLR Academy staff and other business stakeholders. It also plays an important role in tracking enrolments and transactions in our apprenticeship levy account and our additional investments in apprenticeship development over and above our levy contributions.

This role requires regular engagement with our learning providers and cohort leaders to ensure that data is processed and shared in a timely and accurate manner. This data is key in enabling our early career teams to deliver a high-quality experience, that supports our learners as they build personal competency and progress to academic awards, vocational qualifications, or completion of internal learning curriculums.

**Key Accountabilities** and **Responsibilities**
- Support the effective tracking and reporting of learner data required to support the delivery of early careers programme delivery. (Apprentice, undergraduate and graduate programmes)
- Identify opportunities to adopt new technology and systems which will enhance and simplify the collation, sharing and reporting of learner data to enhance learner and stakeholder experience.
- Drive continuous improvement through the design and build of templates and workflows to optimise effective reporting and automation
- Build profiles for new starters against which relevant learning experiences will be tracked.
- Maintain regular contact with external providers and ensure timely submission of data relating to learner progress including attendance (including any additional learner support sessions where applicable), assignment and examination results, vocational study unit completion, mentor feedback, behavioural reviews, action plans and progression reports.
- Monitor changes in government policy and engage with relevant external stakeholders to ensure data is maintained in line with Statutory requirements.
- Track authorised additional payments to providers for services not covered by the levy and maintain forecasts of spend for apprentices in flight.
- Provide relevant reports to other members of the apprentice delivery and governance teams to enable them to make decisions regarding rate for stage, evidence the need for performance management, advise other business stakeholders on progression or track financial commitments.
- Track learner completion and performance of elements set in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
- Identify any elements not completed to plan.
- Act as the gatekeeper for all Early Careers learner data and lead on data governance and compliance

**What You’ll need**
- Highly proficient in the manipulation of data from multiple sources into a controlled set of records - able to perform accurately with adequate speed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite including Word and Excel.
- Experience in building reports from data, and building visual dashboards to monitor key metrics and identify positive and negative trends using appropriate statistical methods, and presentation format.
- A clear understanding of typical KPIs that and be reliably used to drive performance.
- Able to prioritise own workload to ensure that activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
- A good communicator, able to foster effective collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset, someone who always asks “how could this be done better?”
- Adopts a structured approach - highly organised and able to deploy processes and practices consistently and on time.
- Routinely validates and confirms the accuracy of data sets and their analysis.
