WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will support the delivery of such programmes, the projects and their interdependencies within the Engineering Delivery team, using an Agile operating model. Typically, this will involve the identification, planning and co-ordination of specific projects, working with Product Owners and Scrum Masters across different levels of the Agile organisation.

**You will**:

- Support vehicle projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Work with the operational business to understand current processes and to document and prioritise engineering delivery requirements.
- Support delivery of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, and risk and issue management.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be request

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

**Essential**:

- Previous experience in a similar role in Project Management with track record of delivery
- Confidence to steer the working team in delivering the Engineering Delivery objectives
- The ability to manage risks and issues combined with analytical skills to identify how one issue or risk can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
- A methodical detailed approach to work
- Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience
- Experience resolving problems using structured approaches
- Adaptability skills; to be able to respond to change in priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft software as well as the ability to learn how to use project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- To be an effective team-player who supports colleagues to deliver shared objectives
