Senior Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner required for Crisis service.

Are you dedicated to working with children and young people?

We are looking for Senior Mental Health Practitioners to join the CAMHS Crisis and Outreach service, INTERACT.

This post is for applicants to work in the crisis pathway element of Interact and hold a caseload of young people, visiting them in the community and in their homes with a view to support, intervene and provide treatment to CYP in crisis.

Interact provides psychiatric liaison, crisis and outreach services for children and young people. This is based on a need and risk led service providing, short term crisis resolution and prevention intervention within NELFT’s London catchment area. The team also provide outreach intervention via regular consistent face to face contact.

INTERACT provides a bio-psychosocial focused service to residents of four London boroughs and works alongside locally based statutory and non-statutory services The service works alongside the award winning & CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ Brookside Inpatient unit, an Young Person Home Treatment Team, as well as providing training and consultation to the wider professional network.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High-Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436).
