We are pleased to advertise two full time Band 7 roles in our expanding South Hub CAMHS Crisis service.

This is an exciting time to join the South Hub team as we expand further across Camden and Islington, providing urgent support to young people presenting with acute mental health needs.

As we expand, we will be working closely with CAMHS teams, Schools and GPs to reduce unnecessary visits to A&E for young people presenting with mental health concerns that do not require physical health interventions.

The post holder/s will join a supportive and friendly working environment, with regular supervision, development opportunities and line management support.

Provide specialist assessments for young people with Mental Health needs presenting in a crisis episode, practicing within a multi-disciplinary team

To provide specialist advice, education and support to parents, their carers and other health care professionals for children with Mental Health problems.

To contribute to and undertake multidisciplinary assessments and treatment within a clinic based setting.

To accept patient referrals to agreed criteria and be the identified key worker for a patient/client caseload for defined episodes of

To provide reports and communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner concerning the assessment, formulation, treatment plans and needs of clients.

To practice clinically in agreed care settings according to established protocols or guidelines and will support the development and smooth running of the nursing input to mental health service.

The post holder will work to agreed professional, departmental and Trust boundaries as required to provide patient-centered seamless care.

To contribute to the development and establishment of systems and protocols, and wider service developments, to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care to children and young people presenting in mental health crisis across the South of North Central

To establish and nurture effective working relationship with all partner agencies with the aim to create a seamless crisis pathway for South NCL children and young people, and their parents/carers.
