**Main Purpose**
- Participle in the day-to-day operation of the Accounts Receivable function ensuring compliance with group procedures.
- Assist the AR Team Leader in the development and implementation of continuous improvement to the Accounts Receivable process.
- Assist AR Team Leader with the implementation of agreed process changes for the Accounts Receivable function within First Shared Services (FSS)
- Build strong customer relationships, focusing on quality service within the team.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Allocate payments made by BACS/cheques against relevant invoices.
- Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve queries.
- Raise invoices and credit notes
- Investigate and clear unallocated cash promptly.
- Maintain debtor accounts with up to date details.
- Liaise with Banking Services regarding payments received.
**Monthly**:
- Update month end aged debt spreadsheets in line with timetable.
- Issue customer statements.
**General**:
- Standardisation of processes/scope
- Support in all areas of the Service Centre as & when required

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- A minimum of 6 months experience of credit control
- Previous experience of SAP system D
- Experience of working in a high-volume environment
- Experience of working in the Service
