This is a part time post of** 18 hours per week** (Working pattern to be agreed with the successful applicant but will be over 3 days)

This role will be** hybrid **with working from home, outreach in the community at events/ home visiting and attendance at our Norwich Office may be required the Henderson Business Centre. Free parking is available.

We are looking for the successful applicant to cover West Norfolk and Breckland but working in other areas of the county may also be required.

We are looking for someone to join our team from Week commencing 2nd September 2024

A background related to Welfare Benefits would be an advantage

This role will require a **DBS check.**

**Main Responsibilities**
- To maintain accurate records in accordance with audit procedures and funder requirement.
- To work collaboratively with partner organisations ensuring that appropriate signposting is undertaken and consent obtained.
- Provide support and training to the I&A service volunteers contributing to their experience, this will include the review of their work, ensuring any feedback is given in an appropriate format.
- To use approved and relevant resources to support the information and advice given
- To work as part of the wider organisation in a collaborative way to share best practice and to promote and refer to other Services when appropriate.
- Provide talks and presentations to older peoples clubs and groups and to attend other information and advice events to raise awareness

**General**:

- To act as an ambassador for Age UK Norfolk
- To participate in the appraisal scheme and undertake training appropriate to the development of your job role and in line the Organisations statutory obligations
- To work to the agreed standards and policies of the Organisation including public relations; equal opportunities; confidentiality; complaints procedure; personnel and financial procedures.
- To carry out other duties that are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the post.
