**Job overview**

To effectively lead the administration team of the Recovery College in providing an efficient and comprehensive administration support to the Recovery College Principals, Staff, Volunteers and Students.

To support the Recovery College leads in the promotion and development of the Recovery College. To lead the admin team in the co-ordination of prospectus, plans, and all college activities, including liaising with students. To oversee the development of efficient admin structures and processes within the Recovery college including data management and systems. Communicating and collaborating with partner organisations, third sector services and educational facilities/colleges to support the development of the Recovery College and with a diverse range of people at all levels. Post holder will be required to travel across the Black Country to Recovery College bases and community venues.

**Main duties of the job**

To provide and manage a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support function for the Recovery College and Recovery College board and sub-committees in addition to effectively and efficiently supervising an administration team of staff and volunteers as directed by the leadership team.

To complete the supervision and training of staff and volunteers and co-ordination of recruitment and development of volunteers and staff in administrative processes. Manage and take responsibility for the administration team absence management, first line grievance and disciplinary procedures where appropriate and in line with Trust policy and procedures.

To be responsible for ensuring office systems, stationery, keys and fobs for service areas are maintained effectively and developed in accordance with changes to service needs, together with ensuring the security of equipment and buildings. Attend meetings to take notes, produce minutes, draft agendas and ensuring members receive the relevant documentation on time. Provide general support to the meetings and ensure all facility arrangements are made. Produce high quality letters and reports from a variety of sources, to include written and verbal instructions and produce presentation materials. To be responsible where appropriate for cash handling and processing of cash/cheques whilst ensuring compliance with all standing financial instructions.

Essential
- Level 3 (diploma/NVQ level 3) relevant qualification in administration
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- Extensive office experience at supervisory level
- Experience of working within a busy and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Experience of developing partnerships and networking

**Salary**: £25,147.00-£27,596.00 per year
