Business Development Manager

We are currently recruiting an ambitious account manager with a chemical background to join a rapidly expanding business to cover the North West area.
In the role of Account Manager, you will need to be based in the North-West. Your time would be split between working from home, customer site visits and the Head Office in Runcorn when required. A full Driving Licence is required as is the desire to workautonomously and be driven to personally develop your area.
The company have customers worldwide, they supply Chemicals into a range of industries including automotive, aerospace, oil and gas and water utilities.
**Key Responsibilities;**
- Promote a range of precision cleaning products and services to current and prospective customers
- Deal with customer enquiries, orders, and pricing queries
- Manage and update the CRM customer database system
- The ability to manage your own workload
- Prepare quotations for existing customers
- Sourcing prospective clients in your area and converting leads
- Respond to sample and information requests quickly
- Degree qualified preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in the chemicals sector
- Strong communication skills as well as the ability to regularly meet monthly / quarterly targets
