Role:
This is an amazing opportunity to grow the B2B part of a rapidly growing specialist manufacturer of high-performance PCs for consumers and businesses. They are looking for an experienced business development manager to help grow the B2B department, focusingon the specification and sale of high-performance workstation, desktop, laptop and server solutions to businesses in key verticals including (but not limited to):

- Professional design and architecture
- Video Game and Software Development
- Multimedia and special effects
- Defence
- AI and Deep Learning

This high growth business are part of one of the UK's largest and fastest growing technology groups (a highly acquisitive and ambitious company with a wide spectrum of subsidiary businesses, a turnover of ~250m per year and circa 300 employees)
You will be working closely with the network of vendors and partners including Intel, AMD, NVIDIA and PNY so knowledge or a pre-existing relationship with contacts within these businesses is an advantage. Experience of working for a VAR or vendor would alsobe extremely beneficial. You should feel comfortable in the creation and maintenance of testimonials and business case studies in relevant industries, with the assistance of our marketing team.
You will also be tasked with lead generation as well as account management so you need to be self-motivating and be willing to build a rapport with new clients. Reporting into the MD and, indirectly, the group CCO, the role has some flexibility for home working,with a weekly commute to our head office in Warrington.
- Experience within e-commerce sales & marketing.
- Experience within B2B & B2C sales.
- A great understanding of PC gaming marketing and development.
- Passion for IT / computers, especially bespoke computer builds for gaming and also design, university projects, games developers, alongside any other relevant customers.
- Proven organisational and time management skills with CRM experience.
- Ability to negotiate with all parties to bring about win-win situations.
- Strong communicator with credible industry knowledge & standing and good network base.
- Good level of strategic planning and implementation experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and to take a can-do, positive, problem-solving approach.
- Excellent forecasting and business review skills.
- Experience of creating and executing lifecycle management campaigns.
- Ability to track, measure and feedback on progress across all tasks.
