**What you'll do**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join M&S working as part of our instore Visual Merchandising team, to articulate the key seasonal product focuses. Within this role you will be raising the customers style perception and category awareness of M&S, via confident, best in class mannequin dressing, delivery to a set of clear presentation principles, and relevance to customer mindset. Enabling seasonal styling guidance for stores which aligns to campaigns and illustrates the very best of M&S, though commercial and creative solutions.
- Takes design direction and deliver instore styling in line with the relevant product messages. Taking the role of styling expert within the team, showcasing problem solving capabilities and a strong product awareness.
- Staying on top of product knowledge and the latest information on grading / phasing etc whilst ensuring products selected are appropriate.
- Keeping a visual library of looks for the seasons ahead, to support where additional or alternative solutions are required.
- Provide the seasonal lay down documents for all instore mannequin propositions which work to deliver the outputs of (but not excusive to) windows, first bites, in department configurations, high level displays.
- Deliver excellence thorough styling direction and principles to the VM Communications team, enabling delivery of consistent and clear guidance.
- Always champions our customer, by relating everything back to the customer and how it engages / inspires / enables an ease of shop.
- Ensure awareness of key market trends and competitor analysis

**Who you are**
- Proven experience as a Stylist (fashion retail focused)
- Experience across different fashion categories
- High standard of practical styling skills with a good level of creativity and ability to use initiative
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Influencing skills and a positive approach to challenge
