Cavalry Healthcare is a nurse-owned company on a mission to change care for the better and we’re currently looking for compassionate and experienced support workers to join our Supported Living Preston - PR2 area.

**The Role**

You will be working within a team of skilled support workers, enabling young people and adults living in our Supported Living homes to live as full and independent a life as possible.

We support individuals with a wide range of needs and conditions, including learning disabilities, mental health problems and autism. Some of the people we support may have difficulties with communication and, at times, may display behaviours that are deemed to be challenging. Bespoke, high-quality training will be given so that you have exactly the right skills needed to support each client.

We are keen to recruit skilled and experienced support workers with a strong value base, who demonstrate kindness, compassion, and integrity, alongside best practice.

Elements of your role may include:

- Administration and handling of medicines
- Manual handling
- Positive behaviour support
- Record keeping and documentation
- Have a minimum of 6 months’ support work experience
- Are reliable, caring, compassionate and professional
- Genuinely want to make a difference to the lives of the people they support.
- Have the right to work in the UK

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Shift:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
