Personal Assistant/Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team at Lancashire Independent Living Service. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to an individual with ME, Fibromyalgia, and long Covid, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily living tasks, such as getting dressed and bathing, while ensuring the individual's safety and well-being.
- Manage domestic duties, including batch cooking, shopping, cleaning, and gardening, to maintain a comfortable and clean living environment.
- Accompany the individual on days out and to medical appointments, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Support the individual in getting out and about in their local area, attending activities such as swimming and art classes.
- Full UK driver's license and proof of business insurance.
- Friendly and easy-going attitude, with a positive 'can do' approach.
- Experience is desired but not essential.
Part-time position, 16 hours per week, with flexible working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.
Hourly Rate:£12.00 per hour.
