**HR EXECUTIVE**
Mark Allen is a fast-paced, growing media organisation, with 535 magnificent individuals across 5 UK-based offices with 8 trading companies under our name. We are excited to be recruiting an HR Executive to join our very enthusiastic HR team of 5.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the London office (you will be required to travel to our other office locations). Salary range £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a HR Executive, you will provide HR advice and support to the company and our employees. This position is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of a reliable and comprehensive HR service across our UK offices. The role provides the opportunity to assist the HR Manager and HR Director in all aspects of HR and people-related matters. As the business continues to grow and develop, the role will too, making this a great opportunity to develop existing HR knowledge and skills.
- Promote a positive work environment by assisting with ER issues including liaising with line managers to advise on process and best practice guidance on disciplinary and performance management issues, flexible working requests etc
- Work alongside the HR Manager and HR team to create a great employee experience throughout the entire employee life cycle at MAG
- Organise and deliver HR inductions to all new starters
- Take full ownership of maternity/paternity/shared leave processes
- Monitor training needs identified in Performance Reviews
- Assist with sourcing and coordinating training courses for all employees
- Ensure that all HR databases and spreadsheets used for the reporting of HR data are accurate and always maintained
- Ensure all roles/employees have up-to-date job descriptions
- Work to the monthly payroll deadline to process starters, leavers, and employee contract changes
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as employee engagement surveys, HR activities, performance management, and talent development programs
**Key Skills & Knowledge**:
- Sound understanding and execution of HR policies and procedures
- Previous employee relations experience
- Experience working in an HR team within a generalist HR Role
- Ability to work in a flexible HR environment
- Detailed and takes pride in completing work to a high standard
- Able to engage and work effectively at senior and non-management levels
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality
- Able to empathically navigate conversations and scenarios.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
