Interim Group HR Director Opportunity

Oakleaf Executive is seeking an experienced Group HR Director to join our client, a leading investment technology firm, on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, starting in January 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a high-performing team during a period of exciting progress and drive several important projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement a new remuneration policy to ensure fair compensation and motivate employees.
  • Steer the delivery of the new sustainability strategy and Material Risk Taker policy to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Oversee an office move to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide support to the Head of L&D in delivering a new regulatory training framework across the group to ensure compliance and employee development.
  • Embed a new succession planning approach to ensure continuity and minimize risk.
  • Represent HR on the Digital Workplace Programme Board to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Address changes in Employment Law and Employee Relations policy to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Manage the company's FCA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) consultation response to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Desired Skills and Experience:

This is a hands-on leadership role, suited for an experienced HR professional with prior group-level experience, ideally as an interim HRD in regulated FS. You will need to demonstrate the ability to navigate Material Risk Taker (MRT) responsibilities, attend key ExCo meetings, and sit on the Nominations Committee and Remuneration Committee (RemCo).

You will be comfortable leading in a period of change, providing steady guidance, while also driving the successful delivery of key ongoing projects. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must, with a proven ability to influence at the senior leadership level.
