We are looking to appoint an Internal Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator. This unique opportunity will be at the heart of a plan to improve internal communication across the World, covering all aspects of JCB.

Working with key individuals across the business, in local communities and national organisations, this role will be at the centre of a renewed effort to meet our responsibilities as a major business and help us maintain the JCB family values that have served us so well over the past 77 years.

JCB is committed to providing ongoing support to a UK children’s charity in the UK with which we have developed a strong partnership over the past 36 years.

The role will cover a variety of important factors that contribute towards the above from raising public awareness of the company’s social responsibility commitments through marketing to ethical, environmental, and community-minded business initiatives.

**The Opportunity: -**
- Working across a wide stakeholder group, the Internal Communications and CSR Coordinator will collaborate heavily with commercial, operations, marketing, and other corporate functions within JCB
- You will be producing engaging communication material throughout the company, in the form of relevant news stories and articles, with eye catching creative and charity updates
- Assisting in the successful execution of the Internal Communications strategy and tactical plans
- To relay key Company messages across the organisation using existing and innovative communication channels
- Establish an effective network across the business to connect the JCB team together, recognising, communicating, and celebrating the great work that already goes on and allowing more people to get involved
- Raising positive awareness of the organisation's commitment to sustainable social responsibility by championing our initiatives
- Maintain and build JCB’s charitable relationships locally within the immediate community and on a wider global scale and collaborating with our overseas charity ambassadors to create a cohesive strategy
- Project manage fundraising events within JCB ensuring employees engagement from across the JCB Group
- Manage several CSR projects/ initiatives or charitable programmes on a global scale.
- Developing policies relating to a company’s ethical, sustainable, and environmental responsibilities
- Contributing to the company's social responsibility strategy

**Who are we looking for?**
- A great communicator
- IT & social media savvy
- Great level of written English
- Working knowledge of Portuguese and/or Hindi would be highly advantageous (not essential)
- Good understanding of business
- An event organiser
- Motivator and engager of people
- Effective multi-tasker
- Proactive approach
- Logical and analytical thinking skills
