Allied Bakeries are pleased to be partnering with The JCB Academy to deliver Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeships starting September 2024.

What will the apprenticeship involve?

The successful candidate will start their journey in September 2024. This is a four-year commitment during which you will learn and develop engineering skills and knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to break into the engineering field. You must therefore be motivated and passionate about a career in engineering and have a willingness to study both the practical and written aspects of the apprenticeship.

Requirements

Due to the demographics of JCB Academy, a DBS check may be required. Level 2/GCSE qualifications in Maths & English. Where this cannot be evidenced, there is the opportunity to complete an assessment of functional skills. Able to commute to JCB Academy (The JCB Academy, Mill Street, Rocester, ST14 5JX) and Allied Bakeries, Newcastle under Lyme. Have a proactive approach to work. Work reliably and safely Work collaboratively but have confidence working alone. Have an eye for detail and the ability to solve problems. Be receptive to constructive feedback & advice. Demonstrate integrity, taking responsibility & pride in your work. Work to the values of Allied Bakeries & JCB Academy Have excellent communication skills. Good range of IT skills
