**Overview of the role**:
JCB offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Group Transport and Logistics team who are responsible for the shipment of global finished goods. The role is varied and involves liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient shipment of all finished machines from the UK, both domestic & export as well as export machines from India, China, Brazil & the US.

**Your Responsibilities as a Machine Shipping Coordinator**:

- Liaising with preferred haulier base and our shipping partner to arrange UK, EU and global movements.
- Timely despatch of machines from the yard stock.
- Ensuring all documents are present & correct to enable movement of machines, even more so with new Brexit rules.
- Frequent interaction with Sales teams & dealer network around the world.
- Daily reports on machine volume.
- Forward planning where possible to enable faster shipment of machines.
- H&S - maintaining high Health & Safety standards already in place at all the JCB loading facilities.
- Capacity planning - looking for new suppliers to carry our machines into the market when needed.

**About you**:

- You will need to be well organised & adaptable to change.
- Excellent communication skills are essential within this busy logistics team.
- A great team player with a can do attitude.
- IT - Excel & Word essential.
- Previous logistics and transport planning experience essential in this role, especially covering the global market.
- Experience using SAP preferable but not essential.
- Attention to detail critical.
