We are working with a leading international sports organisation on a retained basis to find them their Head of HR for EMEA, a rare opportunity to join a very exciting business with global presence working to a hybrid model, 3 days in the office (West Endof London) and 2 at home

The role is to oversee the population across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa regions totalling around 250 employees. But part of a larger, mid-sized global organisation.

You'll be part of the EMEA Leadership team and lead an international HR team of 5 and be responsible for being a hands on leader, leading by example and implement the people strategy working closely with the wider business across the US and APAC. Reportinginto the Deputy CHRO based in their Head office in the US you will be fully accountable for your region

**DUTIES**
- Drive the EMEA HR agenda forward, be a coach, a leader, a mentor and an inspiration to your team and the wider business
- You'll partner closely with COE's and TA teams as well as ER, Comp & Bens, People Ops and legal to engage with the business and implement the long term people plan
- Manage your team of 5 global HR Business Partners and Advisors remotely
- Provide expert consultation and guidance across a number of generalist areas, including workforce planning, talent management and HR transformation
- Review policy processes for the region and ensure fit for purpose, support employee relations cases if escalated across the region
- Drive a collaborative culture, work on building an inclusive and diverse workforce and ensure equality
- Embed company values, look at ways to improve HR and identify change, implementing and getting buy in from the wider business
- Establish and identify focused initiatives and bring your colleagues on an exciting journey as the business develops and builds in this region
- Some EMEA and US travel required (limited)

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- You'll be a Head of HR or HR Director or operating at this level currently, and have proven experience of driving the HR strategy forward
- You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy bringing HR initiatives to life and taking your colleagues on the journey
- Experience working across Africa, Middle East and Europe is essential and understanding cultural differences and be a strong collaborator is also required
- Strong employment laws knowledge, policy, recruitment, comp and bens and a strong generalist background
- You will have experience working for a brand that is small but well known, maybe that is in the sports, fashion, gaming, media or a similar sector
- Experience in an environment with growth, being able to problem solve and collaborate across remote regions essential
- Be able to demonstrate experience of change and transformation, culture collaboration and have strong DEI values and experience
- CIPD level 7 minimum qualification or relevant experience and a strong business acumen as well as strong employment law knowledge across the EMEA region
