**Job description**

We're looking for new full & part-time pickers / packers to help pack a variety of different fresh ingredients, and prepared meals for our nationwide meal kit delivery service.

We’re growing fast so this is a great opportunity to get into an exciting and progressive company at the beginning of its journey, with lots of opportunities for growth and development.

**The role**

As a picker / packer, you will be proactive, accurate and organised with your work. Responsible for the smooth production, packaging and shipment of our weekly meal kits. You must be passionate for ensuring that all customers receive a first-class and memorable Planthood experience at home.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Efficiently receiving & storing goods inwards
- Accurately preparing food items for delivery, ensuring correct specifications are followed, closely adhering to company food hygiene standards and in a timely manner ready for collection times
- Picking items for shipment, maintaining a consistently high accuracy rate
- Packaging items for collection, ensuring that each parcel leaves the building perfectly presented and securely parcelled.
- Working to improve processes at Planthood, striving to make efficiency savings where possible

**Experience required**
- Previous experience picking and packing items with high attention to detail, at speed
- Experience packing fresh food in a commercial kitchen environment is a bonus
- Hardworking, enthusiastic and with extremely high attention to detail
- Solutions-mindset and adaptable to the many demands of a fast-paced food startup
- Excellent oral and written English

**More details**

Days: Variety of days. Part & Full Time available.

Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 0800-2200, Sat 0730-1230. All shifts would be within these hours.

Hours: 20-40 Hours per week.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
