**The Role - HR Administrator**

We have a great opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team in our central Leeds office
**Salary** - £23,000 - £24,000 per annum (DoE)
**Location** - Office based, LS11 5BD
**Shift** - Monday - Friday
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain employee files & HR systems in preparation for potential audits in line with GDPR
- Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and submitted in time for monthly payroll
- Proactively monitor sickness levels and support team leaders in ensuring adherence to the policy
- Ensure the HR service undertakes all necessary employment checks including DBS and right to work checks
- Prepare employment contracts and offer letters
- Conduct induction meetings with new hires
- Draft all ER related letters (probation, variation to contract, disciplinary etc)
- Track and monitor the probation process ensuring Managers know when review meetings need to take place
- Be engaged with the Engagement Team and play an active role in planning fun activities.
- Provide day to day advice to Line Managers and Employees on general HR related queries, escalating more complex issues to the HR Advisor/Manager.
Competencies:
**Essential**
- Attention to detail
- Strong administration skills: letter writing, contract preparation and organisation and tracking of processes
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Work on own initiative to ensure continued improvements within HR function
- Good knowledge and experience of MS Office packages e.g. Office 365, word, excel and powerpoint, including creating and formatting documents
**Desirable**
- General UK Employment law knowledge (desired)
- HR Administration Experience (desired)
