Hays Education have recently seen an increased need for local Learning Mentors in Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools across Northamptonshire for day-to-day and long-term supply.
Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Northamptonshire, covering the areas of Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and all the in between This means as a Teaching Assistant working through Haysyou will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.
You would be part of a 'bubble' of Learning Mentors within the Northamptonshire area, which allows you to build relationships with schools in the area whilst retaining work flexibility.
**Your new role**
We are currently recruiting for a full and part time Learning Mentors to join the team ASAP on a supply basis. We are looking for exceptional people to work with exceptional pupils who have a range of additional needs.
We are seeking people who thrive on working in a challenging but immensely rewarding environment, who are passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills and who truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
The appointed person will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities that makes every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trustingstudent relationships and motivate and encourage student(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.
