A new, exciting opportunity for a nursery manager has arisen at a local nursery setting. As the nursery manager you would take responsibility for the day-to-day running of setting, including the management of staff and premises, the welfare, learning anddevelopment of children and liaison with parents, in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework. Your key tasks in that role would be to manage a nursery business achieving key goals being a high-qualitychildcare service, sales income, credit control and cash collection, and meeting resource and budget targets and to promote the setting to parents, potential parents, the community, and to professionals. Ideal candidate for the role would have at least 4 yearsof experience of working with children as well as minimum L4 early years qualification. We’re looking for caring and compassionate, yet calm and consistent individual who would be able to lead a nursery team and be a strong communicator with children and adultsat the same time. You would also need to be strongly focused on professional development, be able to use own initiative, make decisions and solve problems.
