A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a pioneering scientific company. They are looking for a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive sales and assist customers through technical product knowledge, bespoke specifications, and assisting universities and research facilities on their sophisticated instruments.
**The Role: Sales Specialist**
This is an exciting and varied role where you will have the opportunity to meet various customers as you are homebased but will travel around the UK and spend roughly 20% or more of your time in the Nordics. You will also be responsible for
- Driving sales through warm leads and new business;
- Creating sales forecasts and achieving sale targets,
- Managing your own diary and travel arrangements across the UK and Nordics;
- General administrative duties which include updating the companies CRM system on all sale activities;
- Collaborating with other departments in the business and relevant sales colleagues to ensure the full sale life cycle needs are met to customer and business satisfaction;
- Occasionally attending scientific conferences where you will be the face of the company and promote product range and services;
- Liaising with customers, whether they are new, existing, or future to assist with any technical or product queries;
- Ensuring instrument demonstrations and installations run smoothly.
- Masters or PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology, Pharmacy, or something similar.
- 2+ years of sales experience selling scientific instrumentations.
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and Nordics for customer visits.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Professional manor with excellent organisation skills.
- UK Drivers Licence is essential.
- Knowledge of spectrometer or mass spec is a bonus.
Working from home you can live anywhere in the UK that is close to a motorway, this could be: London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Reading, Luton, Cambridge, Nottingham, Oxford, Coventry, Peterborough or Derby.
