Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • ???????? Planning & Bidding: Working with marketing and other departments to craft sales plans and bids, ensuring accuracy in both technical and financial aspects.
  • ???????? Market Development: Collaborating with the sales team to identify and tap into new market opportunities.
  • ???????? Customer Solutions: Utilising your knowledge of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to provide effective solutions
  • ???????? Market Trends Monitoring: Keeping an eye on customer and market trends with the marketing team to develop impactful marketing activities.


The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:


  • Sales Expertise : ???????? With 2-5 years of sales experience, you've proven your ability to drive sales volumes and margins.
  • Industry Knowledge : ???????? You possess deep knowledge of Emergency Lighting, Central Power Systems, and the Commercial Building market.
  • Relationship Builder : ???????? Exceptional at developing and managing customer relationships, you're adept at establishing long-lasting connections.
  • Collaborative & Solution-Focused : ???????? A team player who works well with others, you're always looking for the best solutions to customer needs.
  • Strong Communicator : ????️✍️ Your communication skills are top-notch, both in writing and speaking, making complex ideas easy to understand.
  • Technical Proficiency : ???????? Demonstrated project and design performance in Emergency Lighting, knowledgeable in standards like BS5499, EN1838, and EN50171.
  • Flexible & Mobile : ???????? Holding a valid UK driving licence, you're ready to cover the central belt of the UK, mainly the Midlands, and support roles in Ireland.
