Part-time Administrative Assistant

Milestone Transport Planning (MTP) is a well-established and market-leading transport planning and highways design consultancy operating throughout the UK, assisting our diverse clientele with a range of interesting projects.
The focus of this role will be to work closely with the Associate Director of Operations to assist with managing our Gateshead office and to help create and implement an annual marketing strategy to drive MTP’s media presence.
**The role**:
- Oversee the day to day running of the Gateshead office
- Receiving incoming mail and parcels and distribution / outgoing mail
- General administration duties including filing, photocopying, scanning and archiving
- HR support - staff holiday, employee handbook, sickness records, maintaining staff records updated and keeping up with UK legislation
- PA support to Company Directors
- Support the development of social media and online presence, creating, editing and proofreading press releases, online content
- Manage, develop and grow the social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
- Maintenance and updating of Company website;
- Plan and implement effective, targeted multi-media campaigns to generate awareness, interest, and action
- Assist with the organisation of exhibitions, conferences and other events
**The Person**:
- Proficient with the use of MS Office software
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with ability to manage own workload
- A highly creative individual with a keen interest in digital technology
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Approachable and professional manner when dealing with colleagues and clients
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative
**Additional, desirable skills**
- Experience in SEO
- Experience with CRM packages
- Knowledge of graphic design platforms (Canva)
- Video editing skills
- Drivers Licence
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: £7,500.00-£9,500.00 per year
