A school in Gateshead (NE21) are looking to recruit a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis.

**About the role**:
The appointed KS2 Teaching Assistant will be working within the Year 4 class in school, where some pupils have lower attainment and/or SEND. Duties for this role will include general classroom support, as well as leading some intervention sessions with pupils. The Year 4 Times Table check is a crucial part of this year so there will be a focus on this within the curriculum. Experience of working within a KS2 setting would be desirable for this job role. The role is part-time, therefore days and hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 08:30 - 15:30.

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- L2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
