**Job Title**: Assistant Administrator

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday, 37.5 per week

**Pay Rate**: £11.80 per/hr
- The duration of this position Is initially for 6 months with the opportunity to be offered a permanent placement. _We are currently working alongside a well-established for an Administrator to be based in Gateshead, Metropolitan of Tyne and Wyre. The successful individual will have responsibility for inputting and processing customer enquiries, quotations and ordersutilising the ERP system. You will also be assisting with continuous improvement projects, in order to explore and develop methods of increased efficiency in alignment with our overall strategy and vision. **Main responsibilities with include but not limited to**:

- Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders in a timely and efficient manner utilising the ERP system
- Input information into the workload trackers
- Escalate customer complaints when required
- Represent the customer interests within the business toassist in finding resolution to requests in a timely manner
- Accountable for contributing to improvement of department KPIs
- Ensure all quotations and orders are handled in accordance with compliance requirements and highlight any red flags to supervision-Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager**Skills & Experience required**:

- Delivers solutions and decisions that are effective and constructively impact both the company and the customer’s organisation - Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks - Be quick to identify critical informationand respond appropriately - Confident and professional when representing the company in person and in writing - A strong sense of customer focus (internal/external) - Committed to self-improvement and development through the role in order to achieve careergoals **Qualification required**:

- Secondary school level Maths, English &/or a Higher level of education
- Higher Level Qualification within Administration

**Experience**:

- Experience in a similar position (+/- 2 years). Knowledge of good sales practice or procedures. Computer literacy (including high expertise of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of ERP/ MRP systems (moving to Omega/Oracle)
