Applications are welcomed for a Personal Assistant and Governance Administrator to provide high level PA support to the Associate Head of Department (Academic Support and Finance) and Nuffield Department of Medicine’s (NDM) Governance team.

You will have full responsibility for the effective day-to-day organisation of the Associate Head of Department’s diary, which includes complex international travel arrangements. You will organise and schedule appointments, prepare meeting agendas, and deal with enquires, progressing matters as appropriate. In addition, will provide administrative support for projects the AHoD is involved with, such as building projects, research initiatives, organisational projects or co-ordination of information for external bodies.

The AHoD has a new role as Director of a new University subsidiary company, Oxford NDM Overseas Ltd (ONOL), and the post holder will be responsible for providing services to the ONOL Board. Working in conjunction with the Head of Operations and Improvements and the NDM Head of Compliance and Assurance, the post holder will provide administrative support for the department’s governance of administration structure.

You will have considerable experience acting as a PA and/or Executive Assistant at a senior level. You will have demonstrable experience of administrative and financial processes; including the ability to manage finances and keep track of financial records. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate with MS Office packages.
