A vacancy has arisen within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Secretariat at the Queens Hospital, Burton for a Pathway Co-ordinator (Medical Secretary).

As a Pathway Co-ordinator, you will have an eye for detail, a strong team working ethic and be passionate about providing excellent service for our patients. You will require high levels of tact, diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively to enable day to day management in a fast-paced environment.

The post holder will be required to provide an efficient Medical Secretarial service to the consultants and their team in respect of NHS work. To work flexibly with or alongside medical secretarial staff, consultants and other teams when required.

You will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Confidentiality, the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively and a willingness to learn are essential.
