**Head of People**

**Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire**

**Up to £70,000 plus bonus**

**Excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of People to join a high quality Claims Management business, to develop and grow the HR function**

GHG Solutions Ltd is an International Loss Adjusting Company with its Head Office near Southampton, Hampshire; who specialise in providing high quality, bespoke solutions to the insurance industry with consistent ratings in external audits as “Excellent”.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we’re looking for a Head of People to be responsible for developing and driving forward our people plan. In this Board level role, you will lead the strategic development of the people plan as well as rolling your sleevesup to ensure the successful execution of the plan.

**What will you be responsible for**:
**Strategy, Culture and Engagement**
- Develop and implement a People strategy to support our growing business, maintaining a critical focus on culture, talent and management development, talent acquisition and retention
- Enhance employee experience, engagement, and wellbeing through the delivery of key people initiatives that make GHG a place our team are proud of
- Support the development of the Company culture and ensure this is embedded through the employee lifecycle and that GHG is a great place to work
- Act as a sounding board for the Senior Leadership Team and people managers, providing expert advice and coaching throughout

**Recruitment & Employer Brand**
- Drive workforce planning to support ongoing growth of the business
- Implement an engaging multi-channel sourcing approach that meets current talent acquisition needs as well as creating a talent pool
- Collaborate with Marketing to build an employer brand to attract the best talent and support the ongoing growth of the business

**Talent & Succession Planning**
- Build a high performance workplace through effective talent management ensuring that we attract, identify, develop, engage and retain our key players
- Support the development and implementation of our internal GHG Training academy
- Manage and lead on performance management systems and process that supports talent identification, development and succession planning
- Evaluate learning and development needs across the workforce and implement learning mechanisms to build capability and resource

**HR Operations**
- Manage HR reporting including identifying key metrics and data to inform business decisions
- Develop people policies that support the people strategy, embody the culture of the company and support line management decision making
- Oversee all aspects of employee relations, providing advice, guidance and coaching to managers and leaders
- Oversee compensation and benefits ensuring all activities are in with our employer brand and people strategy

**What we need from you**:

- Senior HR experience with a track-record of delivering strategic and operational HR
- Experience working within SMEs or growth organisations or experience in Insurance / Loss adjusting a distinct advantage
- Strong generalist HR content knowledge but with key strengths in recruitment, talent management, engagement and culture
- Experience working with senior leaders and gaining buy in from all levels of the organisation
- Experience of developing and delivering HR Projects & initiatives - strong strategic thinking coupled with good project management skills and a proven ability to execute
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to take own initiative and work under own direction
- High level of energy with determination to make a real impact on business performance
- Experience in building successful team cultures
- Good commercial mindset with the ability to balance business and people requirements
